Last weekend, Cherry & JJ celebrated one of the most important days of their life and it was an honor to be a part of it. It was a first “day” wedding I have fully planned and executed. At the end, it was really a blessing to hear vendors and guests say it was one of the most fun weddings they’ve ever attended. I’m so happy to hear this and will definitely “toast to that!” =)
Cherry & JJ are simple, yet very creative and artistic people. They’re fun, quirky and caring! They imagined their wedding to be fun, relaxed, and entertaining for their guests with yellows, greens, and grays in mind. Everything about the wedding had a touch of their personality! I’ll have more photos to share in the next few months (stay tuned for part 2 of this blog..), for now, here’s a few favorite captures from the wedding… Enjoy!!!
~DIY escort cards created by JJ himself!!! We used clothespins to stand them, and guests got clever and pinned their cards on their attire. It was a great use as name tags through out cocktail hour, made it easier for people to remember names!
~Not only did I get to plan Cherry & JJ’s wedding, I had the honor of choreographing their First Dance! They danced to a classic “The Closer I Get to You” by Luther & Beyonce, and then got down to “Yo” by Chris Brown. It was a meaningful moment for them since they first met through dance.. soo much fun!!
